Page Frame - Pop-Up Content & Ownership

The Shop50.com web site is an internet "directory". Like other directories, we link to various other web sites for the benefit of our site visitors, who are then able to view various services and products with a minimum of web surfing. If you have ever visited Yahoo or Infoseek, for example, or any other major portal, then you are aware that they link to many other web sites that they do not own, and some that they do. Their companies and ours work hard to provide a "starting point" web platform where visitors can jump off to a variety of internet sites containing information that would be of interest to visitors with diverse interests.

We often present this material in a "pop-up" and/or "page frame" format. When you click on a pop-up link on our site such as "Value Page Grocery Coupons", the Value Page web site then appears in a new pop-up browser window located on the Shop50.com web site. If you were to click on a page-frame link on our site, the resulting web site then appears in a page frame window located on the Shop50.com web site.

Regarding page frame content, though the URL (web site address) is shown as Shop50.com, the material presented is actually located on the site linked to. Sites we link to in pop-ups or page frames are the exclusive owner of their site content, and all trademarks and copyrights. Neither Shop50.com or its parent company Shop50.com owns any of this linked site content. This is true for most links on our site with the exception of those links to areas owned exclusively by Shop50.com.

In many cases, we have entered into "affiliate or other agreements & permissions" with the sites we link to. Under these arrangements, the linked site benefits from added traffic from our visitors, and we benefit by being able to provide a broader range of information for our site visitors.

There are also other links on our site. The operators of these sites are the exclusive owners of all site content. Such sites include those containing government and chamber of commerce information, state lottery information, medical information, weather information, and various entertainment sites, educational sites and portals.

Like Yahoo, Infoseek and other web portals that maintain advertising programs for national, regional and other advertisers, the Shop50.com portal caters to local and national audiences and advertisers in the various U.S.A. areas we serve.

We do not sell or display any advertisements in the page frames where the content of linked sites appear, nor do we sell or display advertising within pop-ups.

When you click on any ad banners that appear on the sites that we pop-up or page frame, the web sites of these advertisers will appear. These ads are placed with the sites we link to, and it is the pop-up or framed site that charges fees for these advertisements and exclusively profit from same. Shop50.com is not affiliated with these advertisers in any way, nor do we profit from the display of such ads.
